Pre-Clinical Programmes

Vantia Therapeutics' expertise in protease inhibition, combined with its small molecule drug discovery capabilities, has led it to generate a pipeline of novel pre-clinical programmes including a programme targeting tissue kallikrein, an important protein in signalling cascades that lead to inflammation. Vantia has a library of a small molecule inhibitors of tissue kallikrein which have the potential to be first-in-class oral therapies for inflammatory diseases that affect the respiratory system, such as COPD and asthma.

Vantia Therapeutics is also investigating inhibitors of Fibroblast Activation Protein (FAP), which may have potential application in several cancers and fibrotic diseases.
